The Score by Elle Kennedy ♡♡♡♡

The Score by Elle Kennedy is the third book in the Off Campus series. I read the first two books in the series back to back, so I was ready to love The Score.

This third installment tells the story of Allie and Dean. Dean is Briar University’s most infamous player. Allie loves to be in relationships. But when Allie and her long time guy break up and Allie spends the night with Dean, Dean starts to reconsider his player status.

Having met Dean in previous books, I was looking forward to getting this story. I enjoyed watching Dean work to be with Allie and seeing their relationship blossom. My only qualm was not seeing much of a change between the characters when they were single and the characters when they were in a relationship. I expected at least some of the ways Dean flirted to change at least, but the sexual innuendos never ended.

Overall, this was a great read. And I'm already wondering if there with be more books in the series!

The Mistake by Elle Kennedy ♡♡♡♡

The Mistake by Elle Kennedy is the second book in the Off Campus series, and it was equally as good as the first book, The Deal.

The Mistake tells the story of Logan and Grace (similar to the Marked Men series, it is all the male characters who are connected, at this point in the series, they play hockey in college together). Grace and Logan meet on accident, and when Logan decides abruptly he shouldn't hook with Grace, she is not interested in giving him a second chance when he realizes he was wrong. But he's willing to do what it takes to fight for her.

This story and The Deal were pretty similar, but I really enjoyed them both. I like a story where the characters have to fight for what they want. We see Logan grow up a bit and we see Grace become spontaneous.

I hope there are more books to come in this series, because I would love a story from some of those other hockey players.

The Deal by Elle Kennedy is the first book I've read by this author. I am on some kind of sports kick. Three sport books in a row. And this one was awesome.

The Deal tells the story of Hannah, a music major looking to finally talk to her crush and Garrett, a hockey player who desperately need a tutor  so he can stay on the team. Hannah agrees to tutor Garrett if he can get her crush to give her the time of day. Garrett's plan works, but they Hannah and Garrett fall for each other in the process.We watch as they deal with all the issues of hooking up, dating, school, and family.

Initially, I did not like the story, but about 4 chapters in, after getting used to the dialogue and writing style, I was hooked. I enjoyed how feisty Hannah could be, but she was also shy and reserved. She was a very round character. And I loved that Garrett was a smart jock who was extremely sarcastic and a bit vulgar.

I will definitely continue reading more books in this series.
