Let Me Know by Stina Lindenblatt is the second book in her Lost in You series. If you haven’t read the first book, Tell Me When, please go do that now. Tell Me When was absolutely amazing, and you need to read it before Let Me Know. There are spoilers ahead for those of you who haven’t read the first book.

Let Me Know continues Marcus and Amber’s stories. Marcus is healing after being shot by his stepfather, Frank, and he’s figuring out how to make sure Frank can’t hurt anyone else. Amber’s case against Paul is about to go to trial, and she just wants to put everything that happened behind her. She thinks that’s a possibility until her life turns into a media frenzy.

People think that maybe Amber was never kidnapped; they think she was into the type of torture Paul preformed on her. Now Amber feels like she’s the one on trial. Her life is quickly falling apart at the hands of the media.

This story was amazing. I didn’t think it was possible for there to be as much tension in a second book about Amber and Marcus. But the stakes were high, and the story has it all. It made me laugh, it made me cry, and it made me furious.

The way the media was portrayed really added so much to the story. It’s too often victims are made to feel like criminals, and this story showed what the repercussions of that look like for the individual.

But that’s not all the story was about. It was also about fighting to keep the people you love in your life.

Let Me Know was perfect. I’m hoping for more stories from Stina Lindenblatt. Maybe about Chase next time :) Let me know what you think!

She spent a semester in graduate school living in central Finland, and a summer during her undergrad degree working in Helsinki. She has a Master’s of Science degree in exercise physiology and has worked with elite athletes. In her free time, Stina is a photographer, mother of three adorable kids, and devoted wife. Tell Me When by Stina Lindenblatt ♥♥♥♥♥

I couldn’t be happier that I read Tell Me When. This is another book I found through Twitter, and the author, Stina Lindenblatt, was quite nice (We tweeted back and forth for a bit about our love of New Adult even though we both used to read YA. I saw she wrote a book, it looked interesting, so I bought it). Tell Me When is the story of Amber and Marcus and their struggles to be together despite their struggles with difficult pasts. Only dealing with their pasts is much more of a problem than either of them imagined.

There are so many things I want to say about this book, but so much of it would cause spoilers. Instead, I’ll just say expect surprises around every corner. But there is so much emotion in this story, and the characters in this story, with all their issues, are some of the most genuine characters I’ve ever read.

If you’re going to read a book by a new author, then this is the one to choose! I will warn you that the book deals with some serious issues, and while we don’t really see anything, in depth, you may want to prepare yourself for the disturbing pasts Amber and Marcus have endured.

It was great to see characters that were so courageous. I haven’t read many books about people who live in the inner cities and the issues that can go along with that. Neither have I read books about girls going through the issues that Amber is going through in this story. But I have to say the scenarios seemed realistic as did the characters reactions to them. Getting through such difficult situations and coming out on the other side untainted by their situations was a great thing to read.

I hope we will have more books from Stina in the future!
