Dark Paradise by Angie Sandro ♥♥♥♥

I have been looking forward to Dark Paradise by Angie Sandro for some time now. Since I started reading New Adult books a couple of years ago, I haven’t found many paranormal books, and I was excited at the prospect of a paranormal new adult books.

Dark Paradise tells the story of Mala, who finds a dead body in the swamp behind her house, and Landry, the brother to the dead girl. When the dead girl’s body is found, rumors start to circulate about Mala’s witchy family and her possible involvement in the girl’s death. Landry’s had a thing for Mala for years, but he can’t reconcile his feelings with the possibility that the girls of his dreams may have killed his sister. It doesn’t help that Landry’s dead sister is haunting them both.

Together, Landry and Mala, set out to find out who killed Landry’s sister. While at the same time trying to figure out their feelings for each other.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It took me some time to really get into it, but once I did, it was a whirlwind adventure. And at times a very frightening adventure. I can’t wait to read the next book, Dark Sacrifice. I want to know if Mala is going to really come into her powers, and how she will reconcile her feelings for Landry. Give the book a try; I’m so glad I did.  And let me know what you think.
